In July 2023 Peru Farm Center today announced its new name, Taylor Equipment & Powersports, and its
move from Peru to 5 Latour Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
Since 1954 it has been our pleasure to service the Peru community. Our humble beginnings started on
Pleasant Street then in 1980 expanded to the location at 2682 Route 22. We are pleased to announce
we will move again to 5 Latour Avenue in Plattsburgh. The decision to make this move was not taken
lightly. After much consideration, we decided it was time for us to expand our business and elevate our
customer experience.

comfort of our employees and empowering them to be the best they can be. Our new location will be
spacious and bright. It will have upgraded technology and infrastructure. Simply put, we will be able to
serve our customers better” says Jordon Keleher, General Manager.
5 Latour Avenue boasts a fully indoor 50,000-square-foot facility with a 25,000-square-foot showroom.
We now have the ability to display our current inventory and an expanded line of products indoors. We
will have the room to hire more staff, including a dedicated finance specialist, sales representatives,
and technicians.
The move gave us room to grow and expand our parts and service department. The new location will
triple the amount of service bays where technicians will have the space and amenities to accurately
diagnose and service equipment of all sizes. Our parts storage area will triple in size allowing us to
keep more of the essential parts you need in stock and easy to locate.
Our new location will consolidate some new equipment sales from our sister location, Taylor Rental.
Bringing it under the Taylor umbrella, the new site will be two divisions: Taylor Equipment Sales and
Taylor Powersports. It will be a one-stop shop for Powersports, farm, and construction equipment.

Originally from Brushton, NY, Nick began his career as an operator for a large, traveling excavation company specializing in landfill construction throughout New York State. That hands-on experience laid a strong foundation for his work in the field and sparked a lasting appreciation for problem-solving in dynamic, ever-changing environments.
What Nick enjoys most about his current role is collaborating with the team to tackle daily challenges—no two days are ever the same, and that’s what keeps the work engaging.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on his small hobby horse farm and relaxing with his two dogs, Blake and Rusty.

With extensive experience in the tractor, outdoor power equipment, and powersports markets, he is a seasoned professional in his field. In his free time, Jordon enjoys golf, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, boating, and spending quality time with his family.

Ted can tell you almost every part on a tractor, lawnmower, snowblower, or chainsaw; and where we can locate them. Ted enjoys golf, fishing, boating, camping, bowling, and watching NFC football in his spare time.

Originally from Peru, Ashley started her career in warehouse operations and shipping & receiving. Even without prior machinery experience, she learned on the job and quickly built a solid understanding of the industry. What she loves most about working at Taylor Equipment is that no two days are the same—there’s always something new and interesting. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys kayaking, hiking, and keeping up with her dogs.

Bailey is from West Chazy and brings a strong work ethic and hands-on experience to the team. Before joining us, she worked in health care and spent the last four years as a parts specialist for heavy-duty trucks at a local dealership. When she’s not at work, Bailey loves being outdoors—fishing, four-wheeling, or spending time with her two pitties, Peanut and Tator Grace. A fun fact about Bailey? She lives in a tiny home and enjoys the simple lifestyle it brings!

Mary Quain joined our team in 2021 after leaving the medical field. Her favorite part of her job is the people she works with and the customers she assists. She enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, son Jack, and their two dogs in her spare time.

Nic is a skilled Service Technician with 16 years of experience at our sister location. Now part of the Taylor Equipment Sales & Powersports team, he brings extensive knowledge and expertise in equipment maintenance and repair. Nic is a graduate of the Small Engine Technician program at CV-TEC. In his spare time, Nic enjoys working on vehicles and racing.

Doug has spent the past 5 years working at our sister location, Taylor Rental. Doug has always
been passionate about engines and is committed to learning his trade. Doug enjoys spending
time with his wife and dog in his spare time, fishing, and riding dirt bikes.
Powersports Technician
In 2020, after graduating from Chazy High School, Dalton began his professional journey as a powersports technician, where he worked independently for four years. In 2024, he joined the team at Taylor Equipment, expanding his skills beyond powersports and learning alongside a knowledgeable group of co-workers.
Born and raised in Chazy, Dalton now lives in Champlain, where he’s been renovating his home since purchasing it two years ago. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his rescue dog, Chico.
